The dark and mysterious paintings of Barcelona-based artist Jonathan Dalton seem to be from another world. Dark tinted characters and scenes vanish in even darker surroundings, telling bizarre stories while none of the visuals provide hints for the viewer to resolve the mystery. The young artist received several prizes for his works, amongst others the Killarney Art Gallery Prize For An Outstanding Painting By An Artist Under 35.
